Pet supply might seem like an odd term, something more suited to the likes of farm animals than house pets. But getting the right supplies for your pet can make the difference between a happy healthy pet and a sickly miserable one. Since they depend on you for these things, it’s up to you to deliver the goods.
When looking into pet supplies you need to first consider what kind of pet you have. If you have a dog or a cat your supplies are fairly basic. Some food, a food/water dish, a couple of toys, and a bed and you have your bases covered. Other pets require a more personal environment, like fish. For a fish you not only need food, but a tank for the fish to live in, air and water filters, and a current creator for the tank. A thermostat to maintain water temperature is also a must… and the list goes on.
Reptiles are another pet that demands specific supplies. Again you’ll need a tank, but you’ll also need heat lamps, and food. Most reptiles prefer life food and won’t touch dead meat. You can feed some, like bearded dragons vegetables, but they also want live meat in the form of crickets or mice. One blessing is that reptiles eat far less than a comparable mammal, so while their food may be exotic, you’ll need less of it.
